Welcome to the Tasmanian Dog Food Co.! We are a passionate brother and sister team hailing from the beautiful city of Hobart in Tasmania. The journey began when we grew tired of searching for ethical and nutritious dog food options in the market. Fueled by the love for our four-legged companions, we embarked on a mission to create something better.
Alex, the proud parent of two adorable English Staffies named Wendy and Wilson. Unfortunately, both of them struggled with allergies and skin conditions, prompting Alex to dig deeper into their diet. She didn't like what she found with vague standards and a largely unregulated industry It became clear that dog owners deserve better transparency and quality when it comes to their furry friends' meals. Alex began cooking for her own puppers and noticed a difference immediately. That is where the journey began.
Jacob, the other half of our dynamic team has over 12 years of experience as a skilled butcher. Jacob has an intimate understanding of the importance of using high-quality meat in our dog food. He knows that the key to a nutritious and delicious meal lies in the quality of the ingredients.
